I hope to spend more time with my new niece so I can enjoy watching her grow… and I hope work levels out soon (it’s been a hectic few months). And I hope I can get back to keeping up with my devotions every day. I was doing well… then work got crazy with lots of overtime, and I haven’t kept up as well as I’d like.

What I hope for in is 2018, is first better health and then secondly better relationships. My husband and I are of the age where health is very important. Relationships are of every day life. They can be wonderful or terribly disappointing. So I hope for better health and better relationships in 2018.

My husband of 46 years passed away from cancer 13 months ago and I am still struggling with this loss. I sold our home and will be moving closer to my daughter, I’m still praying for courage (that was a word I picked out for 2017 to reflect on) as I had a lot of decisions to make this past year for the first time all by myself. So my prayer and hope for the new year is more courage and peace and happiness in our world. Thank you for this great giveaway!

I hope for healing for my husband. He has metastasized renal cancer that we have been fighting for 7 years. And in June it spread even more and he is on chemo again. Then I have a spot in my lung that we are watching and my next scan is in April. I pray it has not grown or it will be completely gone. Of course good health for my kids and grandkids.
